Nonprofit & Social Responsibility
Brasilito is a vibrant community filled with hardworking families and bright children - but many face barriers to education, healthcare, and safe community spaces. Our mission is to invest in the future of Brasilito by supporting education, health, culture, and the environment. With the right opportunities, we can empower the next generation and strengthen the community we all love.
Our Community Commitment
Arcadia is actively working alongside the key community institutions that serve Brasilito - ADI, Blue Flag (Bandera Azul), ACCAI, and the Do It Foundation. Our commitment is simple: to help make Brasilito a safer, cleaner, and better place by strengthening the local organizations that already serve this community.
Impact in Action

Infrastructure
Through ADI - Brasilito's local development association - funds were directed toward community infrastructure and development projects that benefit all residents.

Renovation
Three A/C units installed throughout the community center - creating a learning environment that withstands Guanacaste's extreme heat and protects equipment year-round.

Infrastructure
A full transformation of the Playa Brasilito Community Center - new signage, landscaping, LED lighting, upgraded security, and a completely renewed exterior.

Environment
Arcadia brought its own team and tractor to Playa Brasilito, working alongside Blue Flag to haul bags of trash and storm debris off the sand.

Environment
Our personnel and Blue Flag volunteers cleared litter and fallen palm fronds from the shaded park along the beach - a shared space for local families and visitors.

Environment
Arcadia staff and Blue Flag volunteers side by side - our tractor and crew putting real equipment and manpower behind the town's effort to keep Playa Brasilito clean.

Environment
More than 25 palm trees were planted along Playa Brasilito, placed to keep cars off the sand and protect the beach.

Environment
Arcadia's own backhoe brought the palms in, and crews set them by hand - turning stretches of bare, sun-baked sand into shaded ground.

Environment
The finished result: rows of palms, new blue tables and benches, and trash cans - a cleaner, cooler and better-looking beach for families and visitors.

Health
Before the rains arrived, Arcadia joined ADI and local government authorities in a preventive cleanup - clearing rust, old tires and discarded containers where standing water could let mosquitoes breed.

Health
Blue Flag called neighbors together on September 24 to clean up Brasilito ahead of the rainy season - and Arcadia's team showed up to help, as we do every campaign.

Health
Rusted, broken bins and old scrap were hauled away - removing sharp, corroded metal that can cause injuries and serious infections like tetanus, plus spots where rainwater collects. It also makes room for new equipment built from materials that won't rust in the salt air.

Youth & Culture
The team's first full set of matching numbered Arcadia uniforms - so Brasilito's kids take the field looking like the team they are.

Youth & Culture
More than 20 local kids now train and play together as one team, with a field to practice on right here in their own community.

Youth & Culture
The team gives kids a safe place to spend their evenings - building friendships, discipline and a social circle around the game they love.

Youth & Culture
Roxana, current and former ADI President, personally designed the band's new uniforms, made with Arcadia's support - giving Brasilito's young musicians a look they are proud to wear.

Youth & Culture
In their new uniforms, the band performs at shows and town parades - and opens the door for more local kids to join Brasilito's clubs.

Youth & Culture
With Arcadia's support, volunteers brought Santa and Mrs. Claus to Brasilito's Christmas Day parade, with the town's bands and clubs putting on a show for local kids.

Community
On May 16, 2026, ADI inaugurated the remodeled Plaza de Deportes - a new home where the band performs and Brasilito's kids gather to play.

Community
ADI and Brasilito's residents met to set priorities together - security, beach cleanups, cameras, safe areas for kids and traffic concerns.

Community
Growth on Brasilito's terms: more local business and visitors, while the town keeps the character, families and roots that make it home.
